How long will it take to manufacture a ticket machine shelter?
As this is one of our non-standard products, it can take between 6 to 8 weeks to manufacture an average size shelter in this range. Also, it may take a further 1 week to deliver and arrange the installation of the shelter.
What type of materials are the ticket machine shelters made from?
Heavy-duty steel profiles or fabricated box sections are used for the main structure of the shelter. The fabricated steel is hot dipped galvanised and manufactured to BS Standards ensuring the shelter provides high durability in extreme weather conditions and so offering a longer-lasting solution.
In most cases, the roof glazing panels are PETG or Polycarbonate plastic sheets which provide impact resistance and are UV stable so will not yellow due to prolonged exposure to sunlight. As well as that, the glazing panels can come in clear or have an opal translucent finish.
Do the ticket machine shelters come in various colours?
The main colours that we provide are black, grey, green, and blue. However, upon request and for an additional cost the shelter framework can also be coated to a variety of RAL/BS non-standard colours to suit. The powder coating not only gives the ticket machine shelter extra protection. But also an attractive finish.
Overall, a pay station shelter is a great way to provide shelter for the public when there are bad weather conditions. Making it easier for them to purchase their ticket.
